This is one of those brands I’d only ever seen on the internet!! I was really excited to try the products I received them Obulunji. I have been using them for the past month and it’s time to share my thoughts on each of them.
Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner
I like this conditioner. It’s one of those conditioners that seems to disappear into the hair when applied. The moment I applied it my hair felt instantly softer. I also found I didn’t have to use as much (I’m quite heavy handed when it comes to conditioners). I used it in different ways, under a steamer for 20 minutes as well as for 20 minutes with just a plastic cap. It worked well both ways. My hair was super soft when I rinsed and it felt well moisturised.

Nourish and Shine
This product I loved! I dont think Ive ever used anything like it before. It’s made mainly from butters (illipe, mango, kokum and shea). It is very thick and it is melted in the palm of the hands before application. I used it mostly on dry hair, especially when my hair was in a bun, to make it lie flat. I found it gave my hair a great shine. I also used it after moisturising to seal in the moisture. I followed the directions and used only a pea sized amount. The product has a refreshing grapefruit smell which I’m sure can be overwhelming if you use too much. It can also be used as a body butter for dry skin.
Organic Illipe, mango, kokum and shea butters, grapefruit, sources of vitamins A,D and E, squalene
Grow Great Hair
This product confused me! It is a scalp treatment to encourage faster hair growth and counter hair loss. What confused me was that it is pumped out of the bottle and comes out as a foam. I pumped the foam into the palm of my hand then used my fingers to apply to the scalp. The directions on the bottle say to massage into the scalp for five minutes, twice a day. I found that once the foam touched the scalp it turned to liquid and made my hair wet. The ingredients list looks great though. I’ve decided to keep it until I have braids then give it a try then.
